THE BERENSTAIN BEARS FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAM LAUNCHES NEW CUB CLUB WEBSITE
Credit Union Network for Financial Literacy (CUNFL) announces the latest edition to The Berenstain Bears Financial Literacy Program, cubclubonline.com. The new website is designed to help guide children on the path to financial wellness by reinforcing the money management concept Save, Share, Spend, Earn in a fun way!
Visitors to the site will find games, activities, and financial wellness tips based on the trusted Berenstain Bears book series. Participating credit unions from across the country have partnered with CUNFL to bring this unique program to their members. “This program and the Cub Club demonstrate the strong commitment of credit unions to strengthen financial wellness for families and young members,” said Rick Durante, Executive Director of CUNFL.
Credit Union Network for Financial Literacy (CUNFL) is a wholly owned Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO).
CUNFL focuses on helping credit unions provide financial education solutions while promoting the value of credit union membership.
The staff began developing The Berenstain Bears Financial Literacy program when CUNFL partnered with Berenstain Enterprises. In 2015, CUNFL launched The Berenstain Bears Financial Literacy Program and The Berenstain Bears Visit the Credit Union by Mike Berenstain, making it available to credit unions in the U.S. and Canada. The program is now offered by credit unions in 13 states.
